SOMA Structural Integration Practitioner

Movement & Fascial Therapy Specialist

Rachel Tallman is a Licensed Massage Therapist and certified SOMA Structural Integration Practitioner who specializes in helping people move better, recover faster, and feel stronger through advanced fascial bodywork and movement-based therapy.

With a passion for human movement and biomechanics, Rachel works with athletes, active individuals, and anyone experiencing chronic pain, postural imbalance, or movement restrictions. Her approach focuses on addressing the underlying patterns contributing to pain and dysfunction rather than simply treating symptoms.

Rachel uses Structural Integration combining therapeutic bodywork, guided movement, breath awareness, and neuromuscular re-education to improve mobility, restore balance, and optimize the body’s most efficient alignment and movement patterns. Whether recovering from injury, preparing for competition, or simply wanting to move with greater ease, each session is tailored to the individual’s goals and movement patterns.

Rachel also holds an Intraoral Massage Endorsement, allowing her to safely and effectively work with the muscles and connective tissues inside the mouth and jaw. This specialized training can be especially beneficial for clients experiencing TMJ dysfunction, jaw pain, headaches, chronic neck tension, facial trauma, or postural imbalances originating from restrictions in the jaw, tongue, and upper cervical region. By addressing these often-overlooked structures, intraoral therapy can help restore balance throughout the body, improve alignment, and support more efficient movement patterns.

She has a special interest in working with strength athletes—including Strongman competitors, powerlifters, CrossFit athletes, Olympic weightlifters, and fitness enthusiasts—helping them improve performance, recover from heavy training, and reduce compensatory movement patterns that can limit long-term progress. Clients often seek Rachel’s care for:

• Chronic pain and stiffness

• Sports performance and recovery

• Injury and post-surgical rehabilitation support

• Mobility restrictions

• Postural imbalances

• Fascial restrictions

• Neck, back, shoulder, and hip pain

• Movement optimization

Rachel believes the body functions best when its tissues are balanced, adaptable, and free to move efficiently. Her goal is to help every client build resilience, improve movement quality, and return to the activities they love with greater confidence and less pain.

“I don’t force the body to change—I help to create the conditions that allow it to change.”
